Here it is… The final bet!
If you haven’t seen already, I’ve decided to make the 6th bet of my Ladder Challenge the final bet… Another winner would see me leave with £259. I banked £30 before placing Bet 6 and that covers my initial stake as well as giving me £10 for the next challenge and a Saturday acca.
I recommend having a think before placing the sixth and final bet, don’t feel like you have to roll the full amount. You’re more than welcome to put some winnings aside which many followers have already done.

Galatasaray v Lazio (Over 1.5 goals)
The final bet of this amazing Ladder Challenge! We’re showing no signs of stopping as the goals flowed in both Istanbul and Norway last night and hopefully it’s exactly the same this evening!
We return to Istanbul tonight for an absolute belter of a fixture between two giant teams in the Europa League as Turkish giants Galatasaray host Lazio.
I put Gala in my accumulator at the weekend due to their love of goals. Their 2-2 draw away at Trabzonspor proved me right on that occasion and I fancy them to do the business once again for us here.
Despite a reasonably strong start to the Superlig, defensive problems are massive at the club and following the score draw with Trabzonspor at the weekend they have managed just one clean sheet in their past 15 games.
A recent example of their defensive frailties was in the Champions League qualifier against Dutch side PSV Eindhoven at the beginning of the season. A humiliating 7-2 defeat over two legs sent Gala to the Europa League and Lazio are certainly capable of inflicting more damage on them this evening.
Luckily they are far more assured going forward and have scored in each of their last 15 competitive games prior to tonight. The last time they fired a blank was back at the start of April!
As for Lazio, well prior to their weekend defeat to AC Milan they had made a flying start to the new Serie A season with impressive 3-1 and 6-1 wins against Empoli and Spezia.
Club talisman and Captain, Ciro Immobile has made a typically prolific start to the new campaign with 4 goals across his 3 appearances and will be relishing taking on such a vulnerable Gala backline.
He will likely lead the line once more in a fully fit Lazio side with Sarri confirming they have no doubts or concerns fitness wise going into this game. He may rotate somewhat to guard against fatigue but this is an important game and I don’t see too much tinkering.
Over 1.5 goals has featured in each of the last 14 matches involving Galatasaray and with a prolific Lazio side coming to town lead by the world class Immobile, I can’t see this one being short on goals!
Brondby v Sparta Prague (Over 1.5 goals)
The late kick off takes us to Denmark where Brondby host Czech outfit Sparta Prague in the opening game of their respective Europa League campaigns.
In a group that also contains Lyon and Rangers, both sides will probably see each other as the weakest team in the group and will both be targeting a victory which should make for an open and entertaining affair.
Brondby, who were Danish champions last year were unable to qualify for the Champions League after suffering a 4-2 aggregate defeat to RB Salzburg last month.
Like Brondby, Sparta Prague also failed to win their Champions League qualification tie as they were hammered 5-1 on aggregate against French side Monaco.
Those results show both sides aren’t afraid of goals at both ends of the pitch and similarly to the Gala game, goals is the clear standout market once more in this matchup.
Now then, listen to this for a stat which will make you all happy. Over 1.5 goals has featured in 19 of the last 20 Sparta Prague fixtures.
Sound good? Well how about if I told you that 18 of the last 19 Brondby fixtures had also featured over 1.5 goals! So if you combine their fixtures over the last 20 games that these two have played; only two of those games wouldn’t have delivered in this market- a 90% success rate!
As for team news, well the hosts are looking a little short at the back which doesn’t bother me with goals the aim of the night. Key central defender Rasmus Wikstrom is out with a shoulder problem and left back Blas Riveros is expected to remain out with a knee injury.
As for Sparta, well teenage sensation Adam Hlozek is set to lead the line and will be licking his lips at the prospect of playing against a makeshift and relatively frail Brondby backline.
He has 7 goal contributions in his 11 appearances this season and is being linked with a host of big money moves in the future with West Ham in particular interested in his signature.
Nobody averaged more goals per game in their league last season than Sparta Prague – they saw a massive 3.68 goals per game with a whopping 80% featuring over 1.5 goals.
A similar situation in Denmark with Brondby who averaged 3.00 goals per game in the league last season with a very impressive 88% over 1.5 goal success rate.
Both sides are as goalsy as they come and this looks like the ideal selection to hopefully get the job done and complete the challenge!
