Even if you haven’t been involved so far there’s no reason you can’t join in today and still have a blast on the builder as well as being able to roll to a tidy total. I recommend grabbing a Betfair account, you’ll get access to the boosted odds as well as a £20 risk free bet to use.
I’ve attached my research below as always, I think this bet looks a cracker so have a read of my reasonings before placing.
AC Milan vs Torino
AC Milan will face Torino for the second time in four days as they look to make the last eight of the Coppa Italia for the 11th season in a row. They won comfortably in Serie A at the weekend and had the game all wrapped up before HT when Franck Kessie put them 2-0 from the penalty spot in the 36th minute. Torino look bereft of confidence at the moment and that defeat left them firmly in the relegation places, 2 points adrift of safety.
Both managers have confirmed they will rotate with it being a cup fixture but Milan are still expected to name a strong side. Sky Italy report the majority of the Milan changes are expected to be at the back which shouldn’t impact too much on their ability to score in this one. In-fact they predict the same front 3 that started at the weekend to start once more tonight with Samu Castillejo, Brahim Diaz and Jens Petter Hauge behind Rafael Leao.
Zlatan will likely start from the bench but Milan boss Stefano Piolo has hinted that he will get a decent run-out tonight in a bid to get some much needed minutes. Some sources even suggest that he could be handed a start which would only help this selection in the quest for Milan goals.
The hosts will likely come up against a largely second-string Torino side with coach Marco Giampolo confirming he will make changes to ‘recover energy’ for his usual first-team starters. Survival in Serie A is the overwhelming priority for the visitors and in a weird way may almost want to be eliminated tonight so they can give their undivided attention to Serie A.
Milan have scored 2+ goals in 16 out of the 17 games they have played in Serie A this season and given the confidence that is flowing through the side right now it is difficult to see how they don’t score at least a couple again tonight. The winner goes through to play the winner of Inter Milan v Fiorentina in the quarter finals which will add even further motivation for AC who will be desperate to face their bitter rivals in a mouth-watering cup tie. Expect Milan to get the job done for us tonight as we lay another brick in our build to £500.
Exeter vs Bolton
A couple of League Two’s most reliable teams when it comes to goals face-off under the lights of St James Park as Bolton make the long trip down the Southwest in what I expect to be an entertaining fixture. No side has seen more goals per game than the hosts who are averaging a hefty 3.47 GPG in their 19 league games played so far.
They’ve seen a phenomenal goals output this season, burying 40 in just 19 League Two matches. They’ve hardly been sturdy at the back either, they’ve conceded 26 in that same number of games and lead the way when it comes to BTTS landing (74%) as well as being the leads most reliable team when it comes to over 1.5 goals with a healthy 89% success rate.
Given the attacking talent they have on offer it is no real surprise they are the leading scores in the division despite on the most part having played 3 less games than the majority of the league due to postponements over the winter period. Matt Jay and Ryan have formed a wonderfully productive partnership in attack combining for 18 goals and they have goals spread around the team with the likes of Joel Randall and Jake Taylor contributing with 6 goals apiece. Bowman has spoken previously about how much he enjoys playing under Matt Taylor due to his attacking style which allows the strikers plenty of chances to fill their boots.
Bolton are having an inconsistent season but on paper have one of the stronger squads in the league. I expect once all their new signings have gelled will become a real force in the second half of the season. In Eoin Doyle they have arguably the most prolific and capable strikers in the division. He was League 2 top scorer last season while at Swindon and bagged a magnificent 25 goals in just 28 games and in the process was 11 goals clear at the top of the goal scoring charts. He has 8 already this campaign and has had a few injury issues to contend with.
Both teams will make a real game of this and there should be plenty of expansive football on display and hopefully lots of chances. More than enough attacking talent out there to convert those chances and I don’t see a couple of goals causing us too many issues this evening to get us off to a perfect start on bet 5 of the challenge.
As I’ve said before, nothing is ever guaranteed, if you’ve read the research you can see this clearly looks a great bet that I’ve properly analysed. However that doesn’t mean it can’t lose. Please consider removing your starting stake or banking some cash before we proceed.
