Tuesday 20th of April – Chelsea vs Brighton Shots Treble
Started doing these shots doubles/trebles last week on Slavia Prague vs Arsenal and my bet sailed home, tenner returning £35. Another yesterday winning on Leeds vs Liverpool, tenner returning £32. It’s got me keen on trying to win some more so here it goes!

🧰 I’ll attach my toolkit for the game below which I’ve used as a guide when picking the selections. Feel free to check it out to make sure you’re happy with my bet or use it to build your own bet builder/shots bet if you like. I’ll also attach a short write up for each player:
As a Chelsea fan I’ve been desperate to see more from the young German since his big money move from Leverkusen. Since Tuchel’s arrival there’s been more than just glimpses of what he is truly capable of.
Now being deployed in a false 9 position, Havertz is growing in confidence game by game and is finding himself in much more dangerous positions. Adept at both creating and taking chances himself, I think he’s going to continue improving and tonight is a great opportunity for him to gain some plaudits.
In that central position there’s no doubt Havertz looks a good bet for a shot on target here, especially given his stats. He averages 1.76 shots per game with 0.85 of those going on target. That actually gives him the highest shots on target percentage of any Chelsea player.
With plenty of movement in and around him in a dynamic front 3, I expect Havertz will get a couple of opportunities against a Brighton side who struggled to cope with Chelsea in the previous meeting when they were by no means as dangerous as they are now.
The American is a player I’m a huge fan of, one of those that gets you excited every time he gets on the ball. He’ll be fresh as a daisy for this one. Always keen to go past a man and get a strike off, I think he’ll be the main driving force in attack this evening.
The nature of Pulisic’s play leads him to be a great bet for shots, he’s always shifting the ball quickly to make room for a shot and remember we don’t even need these to go anywhere near the goal. He averages 2.3 shots per game which puts him right up there on the stats for this squad.
I fancy him to get plenty of the ball as well. With Alonso bombing on from left back, it’s going to be tough for Brighton to keep tabs on Pulisic. Particularly with Pascal Gross filling in as somewhat of a wing back, there’s sure to be space in the half positions between him and Ben White.
A switch up to the Brighton side here and for me, one of the few players in their side that I covet as an opposing fan. I think along with Bissouma these two are two top quality players and Trossard is a player who can provide some magic himself.
Always happy to take on a long shot, as we saw in the international break when he scored a wonderful goal for Belgium. Trossard provides a glimmer of hope in what looks like a tough game for The Seagulls. He averages 2.06 shots per game, only Maupay can top that in terms of players who’ve played a similar number of minutes.
That average shows how easy this could be to land, we only need him to get one strike off to land this bet. Even if Chelsea dominate the game as predicted, that may encourage him even more so to fire off some strikes from range in frustration. I actually think that 2.5 for 2 shots looks excellent value, but I’m sticking with just 1 for this bet.
