Bet 1 kicks off at 12:30pm today and as always I’ve attached my reasons for picking the selections below. Please read before deciding whether you want to place:
Wehen Wiesbaden vs Dynamo Dresden – Over 1.5 goals
Dynamo Dresden are the visitors here and they’ve got everything to play for. They’ve already earned promotion to the second tier but a win on their travels this weekend will have them confirmed as champions. The German previews that I’ve read suggest that both teams will take a relaxed approach to the game and those are the sort of meetings that result in goals.
Dresden have spread the goals out this season and there’s three key players who have contributed to their success in achieving promotion. I was digging through the stats and found that Christoph Daferner, Heinz Moerschel and Phillipp Hosiner have a total of 33 goals between them. That’s over 50% of their total league goals this season!
I won’t forget about Wehen who also have a couple of decent players to look out for when the goals notifications hopefully start coming through. Maurice Malone and Phillip Tietz have combined for 23 goals for their side.
Dresden have seen over 1.5 goals in 65% of their league matches this season
Wehen have seen over 1.5 goals in 76% of their league matches this season
Dresden have seen over 1.5 goals in 11 of their last 16 matches and in 3 of their last 4
Wehen have seen over 1.5 goals in 12 of their last 16 matches and in the last 5 on the spin
Dresden have seen over 1.5 goals in 9 of their last 14 away from home
Wehen have seen over 1.5 goals in 12 of of their last 15 matches at home
Ingolstadt vs 1860 Munich – Over 1.5 goals
This other German 3 Liga meeting is an absolute BEAUTY and it’s sat so perfectly. It’s a very interesting one for neutrals but I wouldn’t want to be a fan of either of these on Saturday afternoon.
Ingolstadt sit 3rd and occupy the promotion play-off spot. However, 1860 Munich are sat just behind them in 4th and they know that a win for them on the last day would see them leapfrog the hosts and steal third place. Luckily for Ingolstadt, just a point would do for them so they’re in pole position. An early goal in this one would see it ignite as it would simply have to open up no matter who finds the goal.
Don’t be worried if this one starts in a cagey manner and that’s exactly what the German previews informed me about. Even if this one’s 0-0 at half time, it’s nothing to worry about. As soon as the first goal goes in the hand of the other side is forced – They simply have to risk conceding another as they try and level the game. It would become ridiculously end to end!
Ingolstadt have seen over 1.5 goals in 73% of their league matches this season
1860 Munich have seen over 1.5 goals in 81% of their league matches this season
Ingolstadt have seen over 1.5 goals in 11 of their last 14 league matches, it was a 5-1 win in their latest
1860 Munich have seen over 1.5 goals in 11 of their last 14 matches, including their previous 8 on the spin
Ingolstadt have seen over 1.5 goals in 6 of their last 10 on home turf
1860 Munich have seen over 1.5 goals in 13 of their last 15 matches away from home. They’ve scored 8 goals in their last 4 away.
