🧰 I’ll attach my toolkit for the game below which I’ve used as a guide when picking the selections. Feel free to check it out to make sure you’re happy with my bet or use it to build your own bet builder/shots bet if you like. I’ll also attach a short write up for each player:
In the continued absence of DCL, Richarlison is the main man for Everton. He’ll lead the line in this one with support from James Rodriguez.
If DCL was fit there’s a chance Richarlison would be played out wide but he’ll be the central figure for The Toffees here. He is the most shot happy member of the Everton team, he averages 2.6 per game.
He also averages exactly 1 shot on target per game and most of those have been accumulated from wide areas, in a central position he’ll be fed more chances created by James that would normally fall for Calvert-Lewin.
It’s no secret that Arsenal can be dodgy at the back, Richarlison will be pressing and looking to force a mistake, I can’t see a single shot on target being any issue for a he Brazilian.
Next up, a player I often find myself gravitating towards when it comes to Arsenal games.
Saka has been a real shining light in a disappointing season for The Gunnere. His dynamism and constant urge to create has been wonderful to watch as he’s developed further in to a quality attacking player.
Saka averages 2.34 shots per game, comfortably above the 2 needed to land this element of the bet. Whether he plays central or in a wide area he’s always happy to take on a shot and is a real driving force in Arsenals front line. With no Aubameyang or Lacazette, Saka will be looking to step up even more so in this one.
If he does play from the right hand side there should be ample space to exploit. Lucas Digne will spend plenty of time further up the pitch, leaving space in between the lines for Saka.
