Few top clubs in Europe need a summer quite as big as Manchester United, here is our take on the Manchester United transfer odds.
Erik ten Hag has helped create a togetherness and identity at Old Trafford that has sorely been lacking for years and it led them to a first trophy since 2017, as well as a return to the Champions League. However, a lot of work still needs to be done if Man United are to return to the top of the Premier League and European table – they are now a decade without a league title.
Their first signing was a statement of intent in Mason Mount, the Chelsea and England midfielder has racked up a huge amount of experience already. If ten Hag is to improve on last season, however, he will want more and no area of the pitch can be ruled out in their attempts to improve.
We have taken a look at Manchester United transfer odds to locate the players that could sign for the Red Devils this summer and looked into why they are linked, why a move may make sense and how they could help take United to the next level.

Harry Maguire to move on?
Harry Maguire has been relieved of his duties as Manchester United club captain which has only fuelled rumours that it is in Erik ten Hag’s plans to move the centre back on. It has been a very difficult last couple of seasons for the England international, and not many hold faith in the 30-year-old to perform reliably week in week out towards the top end of the Premier League.
Aston Villa and West Ham United both seem like realistic moves for Maguire, with Unai Emery’s outstanding work on Villa’s defensive process it could be a viable option for the former Barnsley defender. However, the addition of Pau Torres from Villarreal may make Villa Park a less appealing move for the player due to playing time concerns.
It is hard to see Maguire playing much at all if he remains at Old Trafford past the transfer deadline and David Moyes sticks out as a manager who may appreciate his skillset. A move to West Ham is priced at 7/4 at the time of writing.

Could Harry Kane break the Premier League goalscoring record in Man United colours?
There’s not a bigger name in English football than Harry Kane. He’s England’s captain and record goalscorer. Tottenham Hotspur record goalscorer. Second in the all-time Premier League goalscoring record. And he comes into the 2023-24 campaign on the back of 30 goals in 38 matches, for a below-par Tottenham Hotspur side, his joint-best return.
Tottenham Hotspur are not a club matching his ambitions. He has a year left on his deal and it could be that this is the summer he finally leaves the club to realise those ambitions. While many clubs would do a lot to bring Harry Kane to their club, the reality is that the price to sign a 29-year-old is not viable for many – Man United are not one of those clubs.
Erik ten Hag does not have a reliable forward outside of Marcus Rashford, who prefers the spot on the left-hand side to a central role. Harry Kane could be exactly that. He knows the league inside out. He has played a number of times with Rashford and new signing Mason Mount for England. He could be the presence they have been crying out for in attack and at 16/1, you can back Harry Kane to make the move. Even late in the window this could be one to keep an eye on in the Manchester United transfer odds.

Is Ferguson an Evan better option to lead the United line?
If Man United don’t fancy signing a 29-year-old, they might try and get their hands on an 18-year-old that could lead their attack for another decade or so.
Evan Ferguson appears to be the real deal. This is a boy that made his Bohemians debut at the age of 15 in Ireland’s top division and at 18 scored ten goals in 25 appearances for Brighton and Hove Albion. There’s so much more to like about Ferguson. He’s 18 but six foot two inches, a strong finisher, capable of linking up with players behind him and comfortable having a pop from distance. He’s a player who has just broken through and could be in for a spectacular campaign.
It’s fair to say that Brighton aren’t about to let Ferguson leave easily – the teenager has just signed a deal that keeps him with the South Coast outfit until 2028. And yet, Evan Ferguson next club odds have Man United as 9/4 favourites for his signature this summer and asthey look to rebuild their squad, you wouldn’t rule out a big money move for one of football’s rising stars.
