With Arsenal, Man City & Newcastle all winning their opening games, it’s on to United to round out last seasons top 4.

I expect no change in that trend either, as they welcome a rudderless Wolves side to Old Trafford.

With issues at board level, and a huge lack of backing in the transfer market, Lopetegui has left the club.

He was the key component of signs of improvement in this squad last season.

Gary O’Neil is in. He did a great job at Bournemouth, but I still think this is a side who are going to be embroiled in a relegation battle.

Matt Doherty, Boubacar Traore & Matheus Cunha are the only notable permanent signings made, with the latter 2 both being on loan with them last season.

Whilst they’ve lost Ruben Neves, Nathan Collins, Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez.

Overall, United has a good season under Ten-Haag. They’ve since strengthened with the signings of Onana, Mount & Hojlund.

The latter won’t feature, but the other 2 will. The arrival of Onana is particularly crucial to their progression.

Only City took more points at home last season than United.

The Red Devils lost just once at OT, winning 15/19 games.

No side kept more home clean sheets either, with United keeping their opponents out in 58% of home matches.

I can’t see a world where United don’t take 3 points here. They should win this at a canter.

One thing Wolves do have, is a card happy team.

Take your pic from Lemina, Nunes & Semedo for a card.

Even their forwards; Podence, Cunha and Neto are all carded pretty frequently for attackers.

Wolves averaged 2.50 cards per game last season, and received 2 or more in 68% of games.

With the new rules too, players are being instantly booked for dissent and time wasting.

United also have an ability to really wind their opponents up. Particularly the likes of Fernandes and Antony, often inviting firm tackles from their opponents.

Simon Hooper averages just above 3 cards per game in his PL career. But expect to see an increase on all referees averages with the new guidelines.
