Bernardo Silva is a veteran of this fixture, having represented City over 20 times against Arsenal since 2017 and the streetwise 31-year-old will be using every inch of his experience to slow the Gunners down on Sunday.

Eze scored in two separate appearances against City for previous club Palace last season, once at The Etihad Stadium in the Premier League and again, more famously, in the Eagles’ shock FA Cup Final win over Man City in May.

In total, Eze registered two attempts in each of his three runouts against City during the 2024/25 campaign, utilising his elite ball-carrying skills and close control to good effect on each occasion.

Eze was on the periphery of the game in Arsenal’s last two assignments against Nottingham Forest and Athletic Bilbao, however, he tends to shine against City and we can see him taking centre stage on Sunday.

The 27-year-old has been averaging 1.82 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League since joining Arsenal and we’re backing the England star to test Gianluigi Donnarumma with at least one accurate effort at The Emirates.

Dutchman Tijani Reijnders has made some positive early strides since signing for City in the summer and his box-crashing ability has made him a real asset in the final third already.

Reijnders’s ability to find dangerous pockets to exploit has also made him a target for nervous defenders however, and the 27-year-old has drawn six fouls in his first four Premier League appearances combined.
Only City super sub Oscar Bobb has been fouled more often (eight) for City in the top tier so far, and Reijnders has yet to complete a Premier League fixture without drawing at least one foul from his opponents.
Reijnders’s trademark runs through the lines should make him a threat again against Arsenal. The Gunners have been committing 11.30 fouls per 90 in the league since August and some of their chief offenders occupy the same spaces that Reijnders likes to exploit.

The marauding midfielder is of serious interest to draw a foul for his fifth successive Premier League appearances, with the prices on offer generous in the circumstances.

Zubimendi was signed to bring balance to Arsenal’s midfield following the departure of anchorman Thomas Partey and the Spaniard has certainly been making his presence felt, committing a club-high 2.00 fouls per 90 minutes in the Premier League so far.

The 26-year-old is favoured to commit at least two fouls again when Arsenal host City with prices in that direction offering bags of value at odds of around 2.10.

Zubimendi had room to use the more technical attributes in his locker last weekend when he fouled just once, but scored twice in Arsenal’s cosy 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

However, Zubimendi gave away three free kicks against Liverpool at Anfield before that and two more when Arsenal won against Man Utd at Old Trafford on the opening weekend of the new campaign, proving that he knows how to switch things up when required.

With his midfield foil Declan Rice the likelier of the two to push forward, Zubimendi will be tasked with doing the dirty work again when City visit The Emirates Stadium on Sunday, so look for the Spanish international to beat a target of 2+ fouls.
