Arteta to replace Havertz
Mikel Arteta has a decision to make in midfield as Arsenal host West Ham. Kai Havertz received his fifth booking of the season at Anfield, rendering him unavailable on Thursday. That means Jorginho and Leandro Trossard will be pushing for a call-up in training this week to partner ex-Hammer Declan Rice. Otherwise, it’s unlikely Arteta will feel the need to change things up.
Moyes may bring back Aguerd
David Moyes has stuck pretty rigidly to a preferred XI where possible and after beating Manchester United 2-0 last time out, it’s unlikely he’ll change it up for their trip across London. Kudus is certainly making the most of his opportunity in the absence of Michail Antonio and has now contributed to a goal directly in five of nine Premier League starts, including three goals in his last two appearances – he can be backed at 4.5 to contribute anytime – that’s a bigger price than James Ward-Prowse and Ben White. Jarrod Bowen is 5.5 – he has scored in 11 matches.

Bukayo Saka has a reputation for being the golden child but he’s prone to giving away free-kicks as he looks to press or stop the opposition countering – he has committed a foul in 10 of his last 14 matches and each of his last six at home. Saka will have trouble down the right. Lucas Paqueta is one of the most fouled players in the Premier League, being fouled in 16 of 17 Premier League appearances and twice or more in 12 of those, including a whopping 10 times in his last two matches. Emerson has been fouled just shy of once per 90 too. Keep an eye on Mohammed Kudus – he has been fouled in his last 13 starts and twice or more on seven occasions.

West Ham generally back themselves to defend set-pieces so they aren’t too fussed about committing a foul or two in wide areas. On the right, Vladimir Coufal has committed a foul in his last eight Premier League starts and Mohammed Kudus in his last nine.
They will have their work cut out. Bukayo Saka has been fouled around two and a half times per 90 minutes, including twice or more in each of his last six matches as he regains full fitness and form.
