Both Mainz and Bayer Leverkusen have incentives to perform for different reasons on matchday 34 of the Bundesliga campaign and bettors are advised to aim for goals in the markets with a wager on BTTS (1.36).
Mainz, who have scored in 11 of their last 12 home assignments, might need to better RB Leipzig’s result against Stuttgart to ensure they hold onto sixth position and a berth in the Conference Lague qualifiers and motivated to perform, they can impact the scoresheet again here.

Leverkusen’s players meanwhile, will be determined to give departing coach Xabi Alonso a fitting sendoff before the Spanish taskmaster leaves to join Real Madrid, while Florian Wirtz, Jonathan Tah and Jeremie Frimpong will be among the others desperate to shine before embarking on summer moves elsewhere.

For Stuttgart, Saturday’s game at the Red Bull Arena is mostly about self-preservation with the club’s focus likely to be on next weekend’s crucial DFB Pokal Final encounter with Arminia Bielefeld – a clash that offers routes to silverware and continental qualification.

Head Coach Sebastian Hoeneß could pick his team with that final in mind, though any Stuttgart player selected for Saturday’s finale is likely play with less commitment than usual with injury fears and dashed cup-final dreams abound.

RB Leipzig meanwhile, have been playing with more enthusiasm since interim boss Zsolt Low was appointed to replace the sacked Marco Rose in March. They’ve only lost once in six Bundesliga fixtures since Low’s temporary appointment, netting three times in half of those games along the way.

Stuttgart beat RB Leipzig (3-1) in the cup in Low’s first game at the helm, though they have never won at the Red Bull Arena before, losing on each of their previous five visits to that venue.
