The weekend kicks off with a game in the Championship as leaders Sheffield United go to one of the most treasured grounds in the EFL at Kenilworth Road.
This is the ultimate tool to help anyone pick a Bet Builder, fingers crossed you find it valuable. It has everything you need to consider when picking selections related to goals, shots, cards and more.
predicted LINEUPS
Luton are expected to line-up in a 3-4-1-2 formation with Carlton Morris and Elijah Adebayo leading the line with Luke Freeman sitting in the number 10 role just behind them.

Sheffield United play in the 3-5-2 formation which can also move to a similar 3-4-1-2 that Luton operate in if they want to include a more creative player like James McAtee in the starting XI.
The Blades’ back three is very unlikely to change after their solid performance vs Blackburn, preventing them from having a single shot on target.

TEAM STATS
Interesting corner stats here. Luton have the highest match corners average in the Championship as they’re averaging 12.60 per game so far. An interesting angle is that they take and concede a fair few as you can see below.
Their discipline has been good thus far and it’s in fact their opponents who average a whopping 3.20 cards per game this season.

Sheffield United look really, really good so far. They battered Blackburn in their last match.
They won 3-0, had 23 shots (10 on target) and also reached double figures for corners taken. They didn’t concede a single shot on goal in that game.
Sheffield United games have been good for cards. And as you can see below, that’s for both teams playing with averages way above 2+ a game.

PLAYER SHOTS AND SHOTS ON TARGET
Carlton Morris has by far been Luton’s busiest attacking outlet as you can see. Averaging three shots per 90 minutes with an average of 1.20 going on target. Morris scored the second goal during Luton’s 2-0 win at Swansea last time out.
Luke Freeman is averaging over 2 shots per game from that number 10 position he’s expected to play. It’s a far from impressive shot accuracy though, with just 0.3 on target per 90.

Oli McBurnie tops the shooting charts for Sheffield United but his stats are skewed because only one of his three appearances have been a start. Keep that in mind.
Rhian Brewster and Iliman Ndiaye are next up for the Blades and it’s the latter who’s predicted to start tonight alongside McBurnie.

PLAYER GOALS
There isn’t a great deal to talk about when it comes to Luton as they’ve only scored three goals so far and they’ve been shared among three players.

Iliman Ndiaye has been busy in front of goal for Sheffield United, three goals in five appearances so far is a good effort. He’s scored a brace in the Blades’ 3-0 win over Blackburn despite coming off the bench. It could earn him a start tonight.
Sander Berge is worth a mention. The Norwegian has been well involved and Sheffield United are fortunate to have a player of his quality. There’s been so much interest around him and it’s well deserved.

LUTON TOWN CARDS
There’s a small sample size for Luton so far and they’re only averaging 0.60 cards per game. The interesting thing is that Carlton Morris and Elijah Adebayo average a decent amount of fouls per 90 mins from the front.

James McAtee is a great player for drawing cards but he’s not predicted to start unfortunately, making just the one start so far.
Excluding McAtee, Iliman Ndiaye is their most fouled player and I’d expect him to cause some problems for Luton’s defence.

Match-ups I’d look out for:
A. Campbell vs I. Ndiaye
A. Campbell vs J. Fleck
E. Adebayo vs R. Norrington-Davies
SHEFFIELD UNITED CARDS
Sheffield have the better cards average with 2.60 per game. Norrington-Davies and Fleck lead the way as both have had a couple of bookings in five appearances.
Although the player averaging the most fouls per game is Anel Ahmedhodzic in defence with 1.50 fouls committed per 90 mins.

Luke Freeman and Elijah Adebayo are clearly the Luton players who can cause problems for Sheffield United if they’re up to the task.
Freeman is fouled 2.73 times per 90 minutes on average and Adebayo is next up at 1.96.

Matchups I’d keep an eye on:
E. Adebayo vs R. Norrington-Davies
L. Freeman vs A. Ahmedhodzic
A. Bell vs G. Baldock
______
And that’s my Luton vs Sheffield United Stats Pack finished. If you are looking to place any bet builders tonight, keep the stakes low and don’t place anything if it’s not in the budget.
Good luck!
