Generally speaking, there’s a lack of value in the fouls markets at the moment, and in the game in general, but I think Biel Borra offers a solid price here.

The Andorran right back had a torrid time of it back in June against England, despite Saturday’s hosts scoring just the once. He committed two fouls against a rampant Noni Madueke on the day, and lost his man on multiple occasions, including for England’s goal.

In fact, no player has committed more fouls in Andorra’s World Cup Qualifying campaign thus far than Borra. He’s notched up seven fouls total, at an average of 1.92 P/90, with this selection landing in each of his last three appearances for his nation.

At Wembley, I don’t think things are about to get any easier for him. As mentioned, Madueke drew two fouls from the right back in June, and will be desperate to impress again here should he start on the left.

If not Madueke, then perhaps a rejuvenated Marcus Rashford, or a fired up Anthony Gordon can make the difference. The latter in particular is a huge threat when driving forward, and had drawn four fouls across 134 minutes for Newcastle prior to his red card against Liverpool.

Speaking of Noni Madueke, I think he’s a player to look out for here. There’s a distinct lack of value when it comes to goals in this game, and so the better prices are offered in the assist market; above evens, Madueke becomes a player that I can’t ignore.

The Arsenal winger was the provider of Kane’s winner against Andorra back in June, and had England been a bit more clinical on the night, he could well have provided more than just the one goal. Madueke created four chances on the night, and Andorran right back Biel Borra simply couldn’t keep tabs on him.

Madueke has three assists in seven England caps, and you’d be hard pressed to find too many players able to boast similar numbers. Sure, they’re not outstanding, but it’s a steady output that’s seen him create against the likes of Finland and Greece, as well as Andorra.

Andorra have just one clean sheet to their name in their last 18 internationals, and that clean sheet came in the Nations League against Malta. They will concede here, and I’d expect them to fare much worse than they did in June’s 1-0 defeat. With that in mind, assists are the play, and Madueke’s exploits in June alongside his price make him worth a shout.

England may have scored just the one goal when they met Andorra back in June, but it’s not as if Tuchel’s side didn’t create a whole host of chances. They had 10 shots on target in that game, the Andorran keeper making a ridiculous nine saves.

Now, I don’t expect the same sort of return here, there’s a solid chance some of those efforts end up in goals on Saturday, but a similar shot output should see the Andorran keeper tested plenty once again. Even an increase in goals shouldn’t put you off this market; Serbia ran out 3-0 winners against Andorra back in June, and keeper Iker Alvarez still made four saves.

For me, England are still a cut above Serbia, and should have no trouble cutting through an Andorran defence with just a single clean sheet in their last 18. Tuchel’s men forced three saves out of Albania, and five out of Latvia, back in March. Back at Wembley, they should trump those numbers against Andorra.

Andorra have seriously struggled against the so-called stronger nations in their qualifying groups in recent years, and that’s carried into friendlies as well. Their keeper made four saves in a 5-0 loss to Spain last year, with Romania and Switzerland, the two strongest sides in their Euro 2024 qualifying group, forcing five and six saves respectively. Expect England to do something similar.

Let’s be clear, regardless of what happened when these two sides last met, it’s clear that England are going to dominate proceedings once again. They might miss chances, but they’ll create them, and even if those goals don’t come, the sustained pressure has to tell in some way.

Corners are a given for me here. England notched up 12 when these sides last met, with four in the first half, and eight in the second. The majority of England’s chance were created from out wide on that day, and that should be the case again here.

Andorra will line up with five at the back, and four across the midfield. The space is going to be down the flanks, and playing in those wide areas should give England a chance to get down the outside, get in behind, and force mistakes. Corners naturally arise in those areas of the pitch, all it takes is a blocked cross.

Serbia caused Andorra similar issues from wide areas back in June. They amassed 10 corners in their game against the minnows earlier this year, with four in the first half, and six more in the second half.

This is a selection that’s landed in each of England’s last two qualifiers, and given that they’re yet to drop below 70% in their qualifying campaign, such pressure should see three corners each half land comfortably here.
