A splash of FA Cup action to keep us entertained on Tuesday, I’ve broken down the key stats for each game whilst also providing a little bit of added context and some best bets.
Good luck if you’re placing a bet. Don’t feel you have to just because of this preview. I’ve done this to help out.
Sheffield United vs Wrexham
These two provided incredible entertainment in their first meeting. The Racecourse ground played host to an end to end game which saw 6 goals and a 96th minute equaliser for the championship club.
The Blades were left frustrated by a 0-0 draw with Rotherham at the weekend whilst Wrexham made it 7 straight league wins.

The magic of the cup didn’t really spill over to the first meeting between these two which ended 0-0.
Ipswich actually had the better of the chances, an xG of 1.06 to Burnley’s 0.46. The league one side may be reeling slightly that they now have to head to Turf Moor.
Vincent Kompany’s side haven’t lost a single game here and are bouyant following an impressive 3-0 weekend win against Norwich.

Grimsby vs Luton
A fantastic contest at Kenilworth Road saw Grimsby earn the right to take on the Championship high fliers at Blundell Park.
Grimsby matched up Luton’s formation int he first meeting and mate the contest very tricky.
Both sides have had positive results since. Grimsby ran out 3-0 winners at Crewe whilst Luton continued their league form with two 1-0 wins.
That though, means this will be Luton’s 4th game in just 8 days.

Fleetwood vs Sheffield Wednesday
Sheff Wed took a monumental step on Saturday as 33,000 fans turned out to watch them beat Plymouth and leapfrog them to the summit of League One on goal difference.
Darren Moore’s side drew 1-1 in the first tie, having beaten Scott Brown’s side 1-0 in the league.
That draw was the only blip in an incredible run of form for Wednesday, winning 6/7 including knocking Newcastle out of this competition.
It’s the opposite for Fleetwood. That result was the only match they haven’t lost in their last 5 competitive outings.
There is some injury concerns for The Owls. Especially with Callum Paterson pulling up with a hamstring problem on Saturday.
That being said, there’s a huge disparity in the quality in these two sides and if Wednesday; even with a few injuries, can hit their stride they should be comfortable winners.
