Manchester City can move one step closer to a third consecutive league title with victory against a Fulham side no longer fighting on any front having dropped away from the race for the top six. Pep Guardiola’s side have won 12 of their last 13 matches across all competitions and each of their last seven in the Premier League, including a 4-1 thrashing of Arsenal that put the title firmly in their sights.
Take a swipe through the stats below if you’re planning a bet builder that includes any of the following markets; results, goals, shots, corners, passes, cards, and fouls. So pretty much any. Fulham vs Manchester City confirmed Lineups
MITROVIC AND WILLIAN BOTH OUT
Marco Silva has been fortunate with injuries of late, only forced to rotate his striker following the suspension of Aleksandar Mitrovic. However, Willian missed the 1-0 loss at Aston Villa with a muscle injury and Harry Wilson was forced off early on in that game. Manor Solomon should keep his place on the left-hand side. Wilson is expected to be fit leaving Silva with a decision on whether to start Bobby Reid, Vinicius Junior or Daniel James in attack.
MAHREZ LIKELY TO RETURN TO STARTING LINEUP
Manchester City play two games a week from now until their FA Cup final at the start of June but the ease at which they are winning games means they aren’t being forced to make too many changes to start games. Guardiola did make tactical changes for the visit of Arsenal but is expected to return to their more familiar 3-2-4-1 shape here with Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte likely to start.
Fulham vs Manchester City Team Stats
Fulham’s discipline faltering
Fulham have had a fantastic season but have overperformed overall, scoring more than they have conceded despite their xGD averaging 0.41. It’s unsurprising they give up more shots than they take – only Brentford and Bournemouth allow more shots on target per 90.
Your Fulham vs Manchester City bet builder will be sure to feature Fulham fouls and cards – the Cottagers have received more cards per 90 minutes than any other side in the Premier League this season.
Man City on the title surge
Unsurprisingly, Manchester City sit top or near top of a number of stats. They have scored the most goals in the division and conceded second fewest. They are the only team to average an xG for over 2 per game and also the only team to concede less than 1xG per game. They have had the second most shots on target and conceded the fewest.
City have also conceded the fewest corners in the league and haven’t conceded more than five corners in a league game since the middle of January. Their opposition pick up over two cards per game, handy for your bet builder given Fulham appear to enjoy collecting them.
Fulham vs Manchester City Player Shots and Shots on Target STATS
HARRY WILSON A STRONG OUTSIDE OPTION
Fulham aren’t afraid to have a pop at goal, they’ve just not been very accurate over the course of the season. That has changed recently. Harry Wilson played over an hour in his previous two starts and mustered six shots at goal with three of those being on target. Andreas Pereira has also improved his numbers of late, having four of more shots in six of his last seven league starts and having a shot on target in five of those.
Erling Haaland and Riyad Mahrez both flying for shot-happy City
You could pick a number of Manchester City players for your bet builder but Erling Haaland is absolutely flying as we reach the business end of the season. He had an incredible five shots on target against Arsenal in midweek and had two shots on target in six of his last eight starts in all competitions. Riyad Mahrez should start here and though the Algerian hasn’t always been accurate this term, he has had a shot on target in five of his last seven starts.
Fulham vs Manchester City Player Goals and Assists STATS
Andreas Pereira provides excellent value
It’s a good job Andreas Pereira is taking a number of shots at goal because his stats are your best chance of successfully picking a member of the Fulham XI in your bet builder. The Brazilian has a combined ten goals and assists this season – he is available to score or assist at 16/5. Manor Solomon has four goals despite making just four league starts.
Erling Haaland your bet builder best friend
Erling Haaland is probably the most popular member of Manchester City bet builders this season, understandably so given his 33 Premier League goals. Kevin De Bruyne is also having another phenomenal campaign, matching a whopping 16 assists with seven goals.
Fulham vs Manchester City Player Passing stats
Tosin Adarabioyo the value man
When Fulham last played Manchester City, they had a measly 30% of the ball and they will do well to have the same when they visit the Etihad. Tim Ream averages the most passes per 90 for Fulham with 57.9 but mustered just 43 in the reverse fixture and isn’t worth a bet to make 50 or more at 1/12. Tosin Adarabioyo managed 52 in the recent loss against Arsenal and 53 against Chelsea – he’s available to make 50 or more passes at 4/9.
Be wary of a rodri rest
No side dominates the ball like Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City with their defensive five all averaging over 70 passes per 90 minutes. While the stats look good for your bet builder, it’s worth noting that City have been thumping opponents in the Premier League giving Guardiola the ability to make changes and rest key players – Rodri has completed the full 90 in three of his last seven league games.
Fulham Cards and Fouls stats
KENNY TETE IN FOR TOUGH AFTERNOON
As noted above, Fulham aren’t afraid of picking up a card and it shows with five of their most likely XI picking up seven or more yellow cards. Kenny Tete picked up most of his yellow cards before the World Cup break but managed to complete three tackles and give away six fouls in his previous match up with Manchester City.
Fellow full-back Antonee Robinson has committed fewer fouls across the campaign but has committed at least one in nine of his last 11 matches and two or more in five of those.
The reason Fulham’s full-backs have been pinpointed for this Fulham vs Manchester City bet builder is because they are up against Jack Grealish and Riyad Mahrez, two of the most fouled Premier League footballers. Grealish has ben fouled three or more times in four of his last seven appearances while Mahrez has been fouled two or more times in seven of his last ten starts.

Manchester City Cards and Fouls stats
GREALISH UNAFRAID TO DISH IT OUT
Because they are so dominant in matches, Manchester City tend not to pick up too many cards but that doesn’t stop them from committing fouls – four of their likely XI are committing more than a foul per 90 minutes.
While Jack Grealish is the most fouled player in the league, he isn’t afraid to also dish it out, committing a foul in five of his last six league appearances. He hasn’t made quite as many as sitting midfielder Rodri, who has fouled an opposition player in 11 of his last 13 starts, including four in the midweek win against Arsenal.
Those numbers make for a fun match-up against a Fulham side that aren’t afraid to take a kick. Right-back Kenny Tete will have his hands full defending Grealish but will look to escape him when the opportunity arises – he was also fouled in the reverse fixture between the sides. Andreas Pereira was another player fouled in the reverse fixture and will be the man closest to Rodri.
