I think The Herons will get back to winning ways here after their heavy defeat to Orlando City.

The bookies have now caught on to the price of this selection, with De Paul being deployed in the number 10 position in Messi’s absence. That’ll be the case here as Messi is protected slightly, as I say he may make an appearance off the bench but I find it very unlikely that he starts.

De Paul has been given the license to get forward and augment attacks. In his one MLS appearance he had three shots, despite the heavy defeat in Orlando.

During their leagues cup campaign, he had 4 shots and scored against U.N.A.M when he was played in that advanced position.

De Paul is a very high quality player for this level, as are a number of the Inter Miami side and although his career is largely associated with the defensive side of the game, he’s showing his quality in attack so far for The Herons.

Without Messi, the weight of creativity shifts and De Paul is the one that steps into that role. It’s a shame that the prices have dropped, but this is still a solid pick.

Aude will start at left back for LA Galaxy in this one, having cemented down a starting place lately, playing 90 minutes in each of his last two matches. He hasn’t had the easiest time, in a poor season for The Galaxy he has wilted, he also scored an own goal in their 4-0 defeat to Sounders.

He’s averaged 1.45 fouls per 90 this season.

When playing 70+ minutes, Aude has committed a total of 15 fouls across 10 starts. He’s hit this mark in seven out of those 10.

He’ll also have the task of shutting down Tadeo Allende. In a team of starts, Allende has been having an excellent season and poses a real threat, and I’m sure he’ll fancy his chances against a player who looks low on confidence.

Although I fancy Inter Miami to win this, this looks like a good price. I think this has been priced based on that fact, rather than statistically how strong this bet looks.

The Galaxy have been poor all season yet have always been a consistent pick in the corners market.

They’ve earned an average of 5.00 per match, and that barely drops off on the road where they have averaged 4.92.

They’ve taken 3+ in 77% of their away matches so far this season.

Inter Miami concede plenty of corners too. They’ve shipped an average of 4.45 on home soil, and they’ve conceded 3+ on 70% of their matches, rising to 73% on home soil.
