Real Valladolid are bottom of La Liga with just 16 points. They’ve lost their last 11 straight and haven’t won in 18. Leganes have a good record against their visitors, unbeaten in their last 5. The reverse fixture ended in a draw but Valladolid have picked up just 1 result out of 18 games on the road this season. Leganes, in a meaningful game, should come out on top here.

For all Leganes may be favourites, defensive fragilities have to be considered. A 1-0 win against Las Palmas last time out was their first clean sheet in 4 games. Before that they had lost 3-0 to Villarreal and conceded 2 to Espanyol and Sevilla.

Real Valladolid shouldn’t fill many with confidence here but they have the potential to find the back of the net. Despite 11 losses straight, they’ve found the back of the net against Barcelona, Real Betis and Atletico in that run of defeats. With nothing to play for, they shouldn’t have anything to lose and will be on the front foot from the off here.
