He averages well over three shots per 90 and simply can’t help himself.
More of a shooter than a passer and quite selfish so he should get several opportunities here.
The Red Devils’ captain averages 1.31 fouls per 90 and is their top card-getter.
Everton might sit back more here but Doucoure is in a much safer area of the field where he can give away a cheap free kick without worrying too much.

Man United play Everton in what should be a fierce match at Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag might have to qualify for the Champions League in order to keep his job, but could be aided by the Premier League potentially getting an extra UCL spot due to the coefficient.
Everton are now winless in ten consecutive Premier League games and are deeply embroiled in a relegation battle. The Merseyside outfit are keeping their heads above water for now but with the threat of more points deductions and a desperate need for a victory, the pressure is tightening on Sean Dyche.

Man United vs Everton Predicted Lineups
United still have a lot of injuries
Man United have key injuries to Luke Shaw, Rasmus Hojlund and Lisandro Martinez. We should see Victor Lindelof partner Raphael Varane in central defence. Marcus Rashford will likely lead the line with Brazilian trickster Antony on the right wing.

Gueye an injury doubt
The big injury concern for Sean Dyche is midfielder Idrissa Gueye. If he’s not fit then Andre Gomes is another possible option, although he too has been carrying a knock. The biggest decision that Dyche needs to make is upfront. He must choose between Dominic Calvert-Lewin or Beto. The latter missed a penalty last week but also got on the scoresheet. The more proven and experienced Calvert-Lewin might just get the nod.

Man United vs Everton team stats
Defensive issues plague United
Man United have underachieved in front of goal this season but they are starting to work their way towards their xG metric of 1.50 per game. Erik ten Hag’s men have an average xGA per game of 1.70 which is far too high for any team with Champions League aspirations. The Red Devils’ defence has been far from reliable this season. United have conceded over 16 shots in each match which is a serious achilles heel. Corners are through the roof in their fixtures at a staggering 13.30.

Attacking underperformance a continual Everton theme
Everton have big underlying issues in front of goal. Their xG per game of 1.51 has only been converted into 1.07 goals which is a massive underachievement.. The Toffees have been fairly decent defensively and only allowed 13.74 shots from their opponents in each game. Cards have been very low in Everton fixtures at just 3.77 in each match. They have been well disciplined and obviously well drilled by Sean Dyche.

mAN uNITED vs eVERTON Shots and shots on target stats
Garnacho to snatch at shots
Man United aren’t the most accurate team but there are some players who like to fire in a significant number of shots. Alejandro Garnacho averages over three shots per 90 minutes and is priced at 1.36 to replicate that here. Marcus Rashford might be safer bet builder material at 1.33 considering he’ll be upfront. If Antony does start then he is another player known for wild shooting. He’s 1.14 to have two or more shots which looks too short.

Everton set piece threat brings defenders into play
Everton are not a reliable team for goals but they do average close to 14 shots per game which is quite a lot for a team in the bottom five positions. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has endured a frustrating season and averages nearly three shots per game and based on stats he’s probably likely to hit the target at least once. His backers might be tempted by the 1.40 that he can test the Man United keeper. No other Toffees player averages more than two shots per game. The likes of Ben Godfrey, James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite could all be looked at to fire in a single shot due to their set piece threat.

Man United vs Everton goals and assists stats
Could Rashford now become Mr Reliable?
Marcus Rashford netted a wonder goal vs Man City last week which should get him in the groove. Rashford is the shortest-priced United player to hit the back of the net at 2.70 and because he is a confidence player this might be the right time to strike with him. Bruno Fernandes (or Rashford) will probably be on penalty duty and considering his significant assist threat would be better backed in the ‘to score or assist’ market. Odds of 2.10 could be worth taking on the Portuguese playmaker.

Can Calvert-Lewin be trusted?
Everton have desperately struggled in front of goal. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is 3.30 to score anytime, which actually looks poor value considering his miserable season. If Everton do hit the back of the net, it’s probably from a set piece. Therefore, Jack Harrison to score or assist at 3.25 might represent the best value for the Toffees in this market. This type of counter-attacking game might suit him as well.

Man United Cards and Fouls Stats
Fernandes and Casemiro dirty duo
The Red Devils rank inside the top six for cards obtained in the Premier League and have been quite a dirty team this season. They rank inside the bottom six for average fouls per game though which shows that a lot of their cards are probably for dissent or time-wasting. Captain Bruno Fernandes and Brazilian Casemiro are the obvious candidates to go into the book at 4.0 and 3.40 respectively. To commit one or more fouls at 1.33 and 1.17 could also be considered.

Everton are one of the least fouled teams in the Premier League this season at an average of 8.90 per game. They only draw an extremely low 1.63 cards from their opponents. Sean Dyche’s men won’t have much of the ball here and the only danger for United is probably the occasional counter-attack and set pieces. Jack Harrison is perhaps their best technical player and could cause some problems to Sofyan Amrabat who will be somewhat out of position.

Everton Cards and Fouls Stats
Doucoure the standout fouls option
The Toffees rank fifth for most fouls in the Premier League at an average of 12.20 per game. Their card count has also been increasing as the season has progressed. Sean Dyche might instruct his men to sit back more though and not engage quite so frequently. One big question mark is who plays in midfield because if Idrissa Gueye is passed fit then he could rack up multiple fouls. At an average of 2.07 fouls per 90 minutes Abdoulaye Doucoure is an easy bet builder option at 1.17 to commit just one foul.

Man United rank surprisingly low for fouls drawn in the Premier League this season at just 9.05 per game. Only the likes of Sheffield United and Burnley are below them which is a shocking stat. All of the starters in midfield and attack apart from Garnacho and Antony draw less than one foul per 90 so it might not be wise to go hunting in the Everton fouls market. Antony is the most likely player to draw fouls due to his tricky and cocky nature. Vitaliy Mykolenko and Dwight McNeil could be teased, but they are experienced enough to be watchful, knowing the Brazilian has no end product.
