The second game of Super Sunday is an interesting one. Newly promoted Nottingham Forest take on Conte’s Spurs who’ve started the season well. Forest have already beaten one London club at home this season…
Predicted Lineups
Nottingham Forest should operate in a 3-4-1-2 formation with wing backs Harry Toffolo and Neco Williams providing the width.
Forest were resolute defensively against West Ham and Everton, they should’ve picked up three points on Merseyside but they conceded right at the death in the 1-1 draw.

Expect Tottenham’s familiar 3-4-3 formation with that ridiculously talented front three.
Ivan Perisic is predicted to keep his place on the left after taking Ryan Sessgnon’s spot during the 1-0 win over Wolves.

Team Stats
A stats that’s probably unsurprising is that Nottingham Forest have faced more shots than any other Premier League side so far at 20.3 per game. You can see from the XG stats that they’ve conceded fewer than they probably should have, they’ve conceded 20 shots on target across three matches so far.

Tottenham corners could be an angle worth looking at considering the amount they take and the amount that Forest are conceding. Spurs shots on target too with how often Forest are giving up opportunities on their goal.

Player Shots and Shots on Target
Taiwon Awoniyi has been a threat for Forest leading the line. Neco Williams leads the way for shots per 90 minutes and he’s been doing that from right full-back interestingly.

I’m sure it’s hardly a surprise to see Son and Kane leading the way for Spurs shots, it’s most likely a straight forward choice when it comes to the players you’d include in your bet builder.

Player Goals and Assists
Forest have only found the net twice so far. Beating West Ham 1-0 at home and then securing that 1-1 draw at Everton last time out. Taiwo Awoniyi and fan favourite Brennan Johnson have been the goalscorers.

Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski find themselves at the top of Tottenham’s goalscoring contribution charts. Son is still waiting for his first Premier League goal this season.

Nottingham Forest Cards
Neco Williams is everywhere for Forest. He’s the busiest player when it comes to shots and he’s also doing well for cards. Two bookings in just a few games. Big task for him today up against Perisic and Son.

Son will be running at Neco Williams all afternoon so that’ll be an interesting one to keep an eye on.

Tottenham Cards
A handful of Spurs players have picked up a single booking and it’s the central midfielders who run the show on that front.

Forest signed Lewis O’Brien from Huddersfield and he’s been a standout player for them in the middle of midfield so far. He’s drawing 2.14 fouls per game. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him taking a few kicks from Bentancur and Hojbjerg.
