Who will win the Premier League?

The Premier League season is almost at the half way point, and it will likely be a close race to the finish with plenty of twists and turns. Several teams out of the 20 in the division are favoured  to take home the title.

Manchester City have won the last two titles and are once again favourites this season. They have an experienced squad, a host of quality players and Pep Guardiola in charge making them the team to beat. Arsenal have so far takean the league by storm, although questions have been asked of experience within the young squad as well as depth.

Newcastle United are somewhat of a surprise package so far this term and have the best defensive record in the division. With investment in the January window they may do more than maintain their current position.

Manchester United under Erik Ten Haag seem to have a new found resilience,  remain in contention for the title and have the ability to put together long unbeaten runs. Other members of the vaunted ‘big six’,  Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have a sizable gap to make up to the league leaders, but have the quality in their teams to enable them to put together a winning run.

In conclusion, it is impossible to make a definitive prediction of who will win the Premier League title this season. However, Manchester City remain the bookies favourites.

Who will win the Premier League outright?

This season, the race for the title remains finely balanced as it nears the half way point. The teams who are expected to be amongst the top contenders include Manchester City and Manchester United, with Arsenal leading the standing . All three teams boast impressive squads with world-class players that have already achieved success in the past.

Manchester City are looking to win the Premier League for the 3rd consecutive time. Their squad has plenty of experience and star power with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva as well as marquee signing, Erling Haaland.

Arsenal have shocked many in leading the table with their young squad spearheaded by the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard. Because of their lack of experience and gruelling Europa League campaign, many question if they can maintain form in the second half of the season.

Manchester United are another team that should be in contention for the title this season. They’ve made some strong acquisitions over the summer, such as Lisandro Martinez, Anthony and Casemiro making them contenders.

This season looks set to be a close competition between several teams. Ultimately, the team that can stay consistent and take advantage of any slip-ups from their rivals will come out on top.

Who will finish in the Premier League top four?

The race for the top four spots in the Premier League is as heated as ever this season. With Arsenal and Manchester City leading the table, but all 4 spots are still up for grabs given that roughly half the season is yet to be played. Just 8 points separates 4th place and 10th showing how tight the league is this season. The top 4 will be decided by which teams find consistency and take advantage of their rivals’ slip ups. The so called ‘big 6’ (Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham) are usually considered favourites for these spots, although Newcastle United currently occupy 3rd place and are in a rich vein of form.

Who will be relegated from the Premier League?

The 2022/23 season is almost at the halfway stage and relegation is still to be decided. Currently, Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Southamptonfind themselves in the bottom 3 of the table and face the drop to the Championship . Just above them are Everton, Bournmouth and West Ham, who have also been having a difficult time this season. Time will tell which 3 teams are relegated come the end of the season, but sides who have just been promoted are usually among the favourites to go down.
