Leicester vs Man United Stats Pack

Stats Pack

Leicester City vs Man United tonight which is bound to be an intriguing game. Pressure must be mounting on Brendan Rodgers as the Foxes are one of only three Premier League sides still waiting for their first win of the season.

As for Ten Hag’s Man United, they look to have turned a corner after bouncing back from that embarrassing 4-0 defeat at Brentford with back-to-back wins over Liverpool and Southampton. Two fixtures that’d be easy to drop points in.

The Stats Pack for tonight’s game is below, with predicted line-ups, and a wide range of stats that should help you pick out a bet builder. I would recommend picking out what you like and then waiting for the announcement of the starting XI’s before placing your bets.

PREDICTED LINEUPS

Brendan Rodgers has stated that he’s hopeful about James Maddison’s fitness ahead of tonight’s game however it’s looking like he’ll make the substitutes bench at best.

Wilfred Ndidi should get the nod as the midfield enforcer as he’s predicted to come in and take the place of Boubakary Soumare. Ayoze Perez could also start down the right side after only making an appearance of the bench during the defeat at Chelsea.

Youri Tielemans should also start for Leicester unless some last minute business happens ahead of the last few hours of Deadline Day.

There’s the suggestion that Casemiro could come into the Man United starting eleven in place of Scott McTominay or Christian Eriksen, most likely the former. Ten Hag could be tempted to make slight rotation ahead of the game against Arsenal at the weekend supposedly.

Barring that the United team is expected to be very much the same, Ronaldo and Martial will likely be on the bench with the latter a doubt as he’s had an Achilles issue.

TEAMS STATS

Leicester come into tonight’s game having lost their last three league matches in succession so they’re desperate for a response. That 2.50 goals conceded per 90 minutes average will always make winning a game extremely difficult.

Leicester Stats Pack 1

Manchester United matches have been good to watch so far this season and a large part of the is the amount of chances that’ve been created at both ends of the pitch. As you can see they’ve average 14 shots FOR per 90 minutes and 15.75 against.

Man United Stats Pack 1

PLAYER SHOTS AND SHOTS ON TARGET

Harry Barnes and James Maddison lead the way on the Leicester shots tally and they’re the only two players averaging above a shot on target per 90 minutes. Remember that Maddison is a doubt tonight. Barnes should start on the left hand side however.

Youri Tielemans is averaging 2.03 shots per 90 minutes and has made four appearances this season so it’s a decent sample size. You can get odds of 1.44 for him to have a couple of efforts at goal tonight.

Leicester Stats Pack 2

Cristiano Ronaldo has a lot more shots than any other Man United player but he’s not in Ten Hag’s good books right now and isn’t getting much game time from the off.

Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes both average well over two shots per 90 with Eriksen having 1.03 on target per 90. 1.61 for a couple of Eriksen shots looks an attractive price if he’s to get a start, he’s had a large influence since joining.

Man United Stats Pack 2

PLAYERS GOALS AND ASSISTS

Leicester’s goals have been shared around so far but James Maddison has been the Foxes most influential player with a couple of goals and an assists so far. It’ll be shame for Leicester if he doesn’t start tonight.

Jamie Vardy has registered a couple of assists but he’s still waiting for his first league goal of the season.

Leicester Stats Pack 3

Man United’s form has picked up but they’ve still only had three goalscorers so far with their goal against Brighton coming through an own goal.

Rashford, Sancho and Fernandes are those three scorers. Martial, Dalot and Elanga are those with an assist to their name.

LEICESTER CARDS

Leicester haven’t been amazing for cards so far this season with just four individual players picking up just a single booking. I do think their are players who haven’t made the list who could be at risk of a caution tonight though.

Somebody like Wilfred Ndidi has a long night ahead of him with Bruno Fernandes and the younger United flare players like Sancho and Rashford within his vicinity.

Leicester Stats Pack 4

Anthony Elanga has made four appearances so far and he’s been fouled 2.35 times per 90 minutes. He’ll be running at Leicester’s James Justin and could draw fouls and a booking out of him. I think Sancho vs Castagne is also a similar scenario on the opposite side.

Those are definitely battles to keep an eye on.

MATCH-UPS TO WATCH:

MAN UNITED CARDS

Scott McTominay is a dirty player isn’t he? He should’ve been sent off earlier in the season vs Brighton in my opinion. He’s picked up three yellow cards in four appearances and he’s averaging 3.53 fouls per 90 mins. No other teammate comes close.

Diogo Dalot comes next with two cards in four and he’s averaging 1.79 fouls per 90. He’s struggled with wingers so far this season and I think Harvey Barnes could cause him all kinds of problems.

Man United Stats Pack 5

Going back to Barnes vs Dalot, Barnes has been fouled 3.89 times per 90 mins so far so I do think there’s a decent opportunity he could draw a booking out of United’s Portuguese full-back.

Lisandro Martinez has improved since taking a bit of a battering on social media over the last few weeks but he has a massive task on his hands against Jamie Vardy. Vardy’s experience and pace will call him all kinds of problems in my opinion.
