Napoli vs Torino

Napoli have certainly come out all guns blazing this season, with 5 wins from 7 in an unbeaten start to the domestic campaign.
They went into the international break off the back of a 2-1 away victory against reigning champions AC Milan.
Luciano Spaletti’s side have also made a scintillating start in the Champions League, with 4-1 and 3-0 wins against Liverpool and Rangers respectively. They amassed an astounding xG of 2.84 across the 2 games.
Things have been no different in Serie A. Napoli have scored 2.14 goals per 90 and have only conceded 0.71 per 90. Their xG stat sits at 2.41, and rises to 2.73 when at home, highlighting their innate ability to put teams under plenty of pressure and create quality chances.
Opponents Torino have endured an indifferent start to the season. 2 of their 3 wins have come against Monza and Cremonese, both of whom sit in the bottom 3.
The team from Turin have only scored 6 goals in their 7 outings, with a fairly poor xG of 1.18. They have however, only conceded 7.
I expect Torino to struggle away from home against better opposition. An xGA of 1.74 when away suggests that Napoli should be able to create plenty of chances.
Torino have also lost their two most recent away fixtures, 3-1 to Atalanta and 1-0 to Inter.
Napoli should run out comfortable winners here given the quality in their side, but we only need them to win one half.
Leyton Orient vs Newport

Leyton Orient have opened their League 2 campaign in some style, with 9 wins and just the solitary draw against Swindon seeing them top of the table by 5 points.
Orient have slightly outperformed their very respectable xG of 1.56, hardly surprising when goals are coming from all angles.
They’ve been a consistent threat, having scored in every league game so far this season with an average of 1.80 goals per 90, 2.00 when at home. To put this into perspective for a win in either half, Leyton Orient have scored in 14 out of 20 of the halves that they’ve played.
It’s the defensive stats of Richard Wellens’ side that make them such a frightening opponent. They’ve conceded just 4 in their 10 games, 2 of these coming in a 4-2 victory against hartlepool. Their xGA is the best in the league at 1.00.
Opponents Newport County have been in contrastingly poor form. They’ve failed to win in their last 4, scoring just once, and have only won twice in their 10 games so far.
The Welsh outfit sit in 18th, with 1.00 goals per 90 and 1.40 goals per 90 against. Their xG doesn’t make for much better reading, sitting at 1.18.
Surprisingly, Newport’s xGA is relatively respectable at 1.23, ranking them 6th in League 2 for this metric. Leyton Orient may find Newport relatively stubborn in this regard.
Regardless, Orient come into this one with plenty of momentum and should have too much for a dull Newport side. Remember, Orient only need to win one half in this one, and one goal could do the trick given their outstanding defensive record.
