Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest

Forest have an awful disciplinary record. Well, good for us I guess. They pick up 2.67 cards per game and you’d be hard pressed to choose someone in their team who doesn’t look a ‘good bet’.
Referee Simon Hooper averages 3.31 cards per game. Nothing too crazy there but at least he’s not too lenient.
Freuler is a new addition at the City ground. The Swiss international joined from Italian side Atalanta in the summer.
Freuler, a hard working, tenacious midfielder, picked up 10 yellow cards in 29 appearances in Serie A last season.
He’s started the last two games against Brighton and Liverpool, playing the full 90 in both matches. He was carded in both too.
Freuler commits 1.09 fouls P/90. Nothing too excessive but he’s always happy to do something cynical to try and hamper an opposition attack.
I think that’s a situation he’ll be forced in to several times in this match, against a free flowing Arsenal side.
The forward line love to rotate and seamlessly interchange for The Gunners and they all draw a lot of fouls.
Jesus, who often drops in to the pocket, draws 2.95 fouls P/90. Martinelli draws 1.83, Saka draws 1.31 and Odegaard 0.89.
The two wide men love to step in, which makes those central areas hazardous for defending players. I think Freuler is excellent value to run in to trouble there.
Manchester United vs West Ham

One of my favourite picks for a card, Fernandes is always at the top of my list when I look at Man United games.
United also have an awful disciplinary record, hence why we’ve arrived at this bet.
They pick up an average of 2.91 cards per game. Again, there’s plenty of options here but I’m going for Bruno.
Fernandes is 2nd in United’s card charts this season, he’s been booked 4 times in the Premier League. He commits 1.27 fouls per game. Often, he can be guilty of some quite vicious ones too.
Expect a physical battle for Fernandes in this one with West Ham missing a couple of their more ‘flair’ players in Paqueta, Cornet and possibly Bowen.
I see this as a positive though. As Soucek and Rice will no doubt be out to rough up Fernandes, a player who is often targeted due to his petulant nature.
The amount of times we see United, or Bruno personally struggling in a game and it leads to him losing his cool is bordering on silly now. You can see it coming from a mile off.
Coufal will play in a wide area and Flynn Downes as a 3rd central player in midfield when The Hammers are under pressure.
I can see the scenario already where Fernandes begins to get frustrated by a physical treatment.
If United do struggle here too, that’s the ultimate recipe for a Fernandes meltdown. So sorry United fans, if I see West Ham go in front, I’ll be even happier than usual.
