Where do I begin with Nunez? He’s been on fire in recent weeks.

Against Chelsea on Wednesday, he bagged himself an assist from 10 shots, five of which were on target. Those numbers alone are insane.

But he also picked up two goals and three SOTs against Bournemouth, and another assist and five SOTs against Newcastle.

It’s not surprising then to see that he’s averaging 2.22 shots on target per game.

He’s Liverpool’s main attacking threat at the moment and should rack up a couple of SOT against Arsenal.

As well as racking up the shots on target, Nunez has been busy in defence as well in recent weeks.

He’s picked up 2 or more fouls in his last four Premier League matches.
He’s even picked up a card in his last two games.

Nunez is averaging 1.39 fouls per game but against a quality Arsenal side, Liverpool will often find themselves on the back foot and in need of defence.

If anyone is liable to lunging in or committing a professional foul then it’s Nunez and I reckon he picks up two fouls here.

Arsenal and Liverpool are two of the highest scorers in the League. The Gunners average 2.45 goals per game when playing at home. Whereas the Reds average 2.32 goals per 90.

Arsenal have scored in every single home game this season bar one game against West Ham.

Whereas Liverpool have scored in every single away game this season with no exceptions.

Both sides know what’s on the line here and they should both throw the kitchen sink at this one.

The hardest defensive task of the day goes to Mac Allister.

He’s going to be in charge of keeping all three of Arsenal’s attacking trio at bay.

Jesus and Nketiah have both been fouled 25 times this season, an average of 2.07 and 2.27 per 90 for each respective player.

His toughest Saka though, he’s been fouled an incredible 45 times this season – that’s the third highest in the entire Premier League.

No other player in the Liverpool squad has committed as many fouls as Mac Allister this season. He’s already been carded five times this season and I fancy his chances of making it six this evening.
