Osasuna vs Barcelona

Barca have started their La Liga defence with 7 points from 9, but will be wary of Madrid being so clinical and winning 3/3 so far, a win here is already imperative.

Osasuna have won 2 lost 1 so far, with their 1 defeat coming in their only home game.

Tired legs will be a factor here too. They’ve had 2 legs of Conference League qualifiers with Club Brugge, either side of their win in Valencia.

A gruelling test away in Belgium which ultimately saw them eliminated, isn’t ideal ahead of this clash.

Barca are without Pedri & Araujo, but there’s still more than enough quality in this side to put Osasuna to the sword.

Barca showed ability and grit to run out 4-3 winners at Villarreal.

Fortuna Sittard vs Ajax

The Dutch giants return to league action after a poor result against Ludogorets in midweek, albeit it meant very little as they advanced 4-2 on aggregate.

A win and a draw from their 2 Eredivisie games isn’t ideal, but 6 goals scored shows they’re still a huge threat.

A fresh new wave of youngsters are through the door, with youth once again taking centre stage in Amsterdam.

A lacklustre 3rd placed finish need rectified for Ajax, after Feyenoord cruised to the title last season.
Sittard finished 13th last season, and lost both meetings with Ajax. 4-0 and 3-2.

In fact the aggregate score across the last 5 meetings is 17-2 to Ajax.
Sittard have started well, but their only big test was Feyenoord; who were down to 10 men from 25 minutes.

Ajax stand head and shoulders above the majority of this division and that should be apparent here.

Servette vs Young Boys

Young Boys continued their Swiss dominance with another title win last season, which saw them finish 16 points clear of todays opponents Servette.

Servette have continued on the rise from there though, and results have been very dissapointing.

Eliminated from Europe by Rangers, they then drew with newly promoted Laussane-Ouchy, before a very bad loss to another newly promoted side; as they fell to a 4-1 defeat at Yverdon.

YB have started well, and remain unbeaten so far. A win here could move them to top spot by the end of the weekend.

The last meeting between these two saw YB run out 6-1 winners.

There’s a huge gap in budgets, turnover and as a result quality; between these two and all we need is for the visitors to avoid defeat.
