Football icon Jude Bellingham to have 1+ shots on target

What more is there to say about Jude Bellingham? He’s almost looked like a bargain for Real Madrid.

He’s the club’s top scorer this season with 20 goals and has been a leader for the side at only 20 years old.

Bellingham’s shooting stats are impressive too. He averages 1.24 SOT P90 in the league this season and 1.18 in the Champions League, where he’s bagged 4 goals in 6 games.

The England international has had 9 SOT in his previous 10 games and has proven he’s a man for the big occasions – so I fully expect him to be heavily involved tonight.

Football icon Vinicius Junior to have 1+ shots on target

Bellingham has been the star turn for Real Madrid this season, but Vinicius Junior has been nothing short of brilliant himself.

The Brazilian has 12 league goals in 19 starts this campaign, and he’s a constant threat, driving at his full back and firing off shots with alarming regularity.

He’s averaging 1.70 P/90 in the league, and has hit the target in 13 of his last 15 in all competitions.

Vinicius has hit the target 11 times in his last 5 games alone, and hit the target in the home leg of last season’s Champions League semi final against Man City. Not only that, he’s failed to hit the target just once in this season’s competition.

Guardiola’s side are set to be without Kyle Walker here, a defender who’s unquestionably strong in 1 vs 1 situations. Whoever lines up against him could well be in for a long night, and the absence of Walker will only boost Vinicius’ chances of an effort on target.

Football icon Phil Foden to have 1+ shots on target
Arrow down

When City have needed a player to step up, Phil Foden has been the man to do so of late. Only Haaland has more goals in the City squad, but Foden has single handedly dragged his side through a couple of games of late.

He’s averaging 1.40 shots on target P/90, with this selection landing in 7 of his last 10.

You only have to look back a week for his hat-trick against Villa, and with 17 shots on target in total in that 10 game run, he could well be a difference maker here.

Regardless of Madrid’s quality, City will get chances tonight. Real Madrid concede 4.12 shots on target P/90, and given that Leipzig managed 13 shots on target over 2 legs in the previous round, Foden should cause some problems.
