The Revs are one of just 2 teams in theEastern Conference to boast an unbeaten record on their own turf.

From 12 matches at the Gillette Stadium, they’ve won 9 and drawn 3. They’ve won their last 6 on the spin here, scoring 2 or more goals in each of those.

Their metrics go through the roof at home. They create an average xG here of 1.74, compared to 0.94 away and their xGA drops from 1.65 on the road, to 1.37 at home. They’ve converted that xG very well, rattling in 29 goals.

The goals are well spread a very talented squad, with serial marksmen Bobby Wood and Gustavo Bou in fine form. The key man is Carles Gil, the Spaniard has 7 goals and 12 assists so far this season; and exceptional haul.

The Red Bulls aren’t having a great season, and sit 11th in the East, and have taken 14 fewer points than NE. Of their 29 points, just 7 have come on the road.

So for this selection to lose, we’d need NY to do something they’ve managed just once in 11 attempts – win an away games.

I think the hosts are a generous price, and I’ve taken advantage by playing the draw no bet market, meaning if it’s a draw, this selection will be void.

This is a clash of two real attacking heavyweights.

The visitors lead the MLS, and have been the standout performers so far. Their home record has been ridiculous, but they’ve shown themselves to be vulnerable on the road and they now face a side who come in to this off the back of smashing 4 past Nashville.

Cincinatti lead the league by 11 points. But they’ve taken just 17 on the road, compared to 37 at home.

Their games have averaged 2.80 goals, with 64% landing for 3 or more. On the road, that average rises to 2.92, with the league leaders being considerably more porous at the back.

The hosts are goal crazy, and no side in the entire MLS has averaged more per game. Atlanta matches have seen 3.35 goals, with 69% hitting the mark we’re looking for. That increased to 3.54 at home and a huge 77% strike rate for over 2.5 goals.

Both sides possess star quality, but this looks set to be a battle between two wonderful Argentinian wizards.

Thiago Almada became Atlanta’s designated player this season, following the departure of Josef Martinez. A huge gamble given Martinez’s stature in MLS, but one that has paid off.

Almada has 9 goals and 13 assists this season. He has been helped by the finishing of former Celtic man Georgious Giakoumakis, who’s bagged 12 times this season.

On the other side, there’s Luciano Acosta. 12 goals, 10 assists so far. He’s been sublime, and the driving factor in Cincinatti’s brilliant season. He’s either scored or assisted in 9 of his last 10 games. Remarkable consistency.
