Tottenham vs Crystal Palace

Spurs are a decent side at home. They’ve won 9 of their 13 home games. They lost to Wolves last time out but that doesn’t concern me too much, Wolves are flying right now and prior to that Spurs had won 5 on the bounce at home.

Palace are struggling. They’ve won just 3 times on the road this season with their last away victory coming 9 games ago against an abysmal Burnley side. Glasner did win his first game in charge, but again that was against Burnley, and with Guehi now out injured, I struggle to see them containing a Spurs side that if nothing else play fluent and attacking football.

Spurs won the return fixture 2-1, and I think they’ll have enough in their locked to get another win here.

Swansea vs Blackburn

Calendar 2nd March

These two have the first and second highest BTTS records in the league – 68% and 65% respectively.

As you would expect from teams like that, they both score and concede a bunch of goals. The Swans have scored in all but 6 of their 34 league fixtures this season, that record stands at 8 from 34 for Blackburn.

Likewise though, these two have the second and fourth worst defensive record. Blackburn have conceded 60 times, an average of 1.76 per game.
Whereas, Swansea have conceded 55 times in the same period, 1.62 per game.

Wrexham vs Accrington Stanley

Wrexham at home and Wrexham away are two different animals. They have the best home record in the league, having won 12 out of 16 games and drawn 2.

They welcome an Accringtom team with the 16th best away record in the league, and despite their recent struggles away from home, you’d expect Wrexham to have more than enough to win this one.

Accrington have only won 1 of their last 10 away from home, and that was against 2nd-bottom Forest Green Rovers just 9 days after they fired Troy Deeney.

Eastleigh vs Sollihull Moors

Eastleigh games are crazy for goals. Their matches average 3.67, with only runaway leaders Chesterfield above them. The problem for Eastleigh is that despite being the 4th highest scorers in the league, they still manage to concede more then they score. As a consequence they sit 12th in the table.

Solihull sit 4th in the table but despite a good run of form are vulnerable at the back. They haven’t kept a clean sheet in 10 games, with BTTS landing in 8 of their last 10 games, and 66% of the time across the season.

Eastleigh are slightly higher, with BTTS landing in 67% of their games, including in 5 of their last 7. It was 1-1 when the two sides met at the start of the season, and I expect both sides to get on the scoresheet again here.
