Tottenham vs AC Milan

Football icon Harry Kane 2+ shots on target

With Spurs needing to turn things around, I expect them to have the lion share of the game as Milan will likely sit in, break things up and make it as tough as possible for the hosts.

Kane is going to be vital if Spurs are to have success, as he always is.

In the league Kane averages 1.43 SOT/90 from 3.45 shots/90. He’s also the penalty taker for Spurs and with Milan’s likely aggressive approach, it wouldn’t surprise me for that to be a key factor here.

He’s not been in the craziest of form lately but his quality is undeniable and I expect him to step up here.

Football icon Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 1+ shots
Arrow down

Hojberg loves a ping where possible. Whether that be from range or from a late run in to the box.

Spurs are odds-on favourites tonight and when they win, Hojberg rarely blanks in this category.

In Tottenham’s last 8 wins, Hojberg has had 1 or more shots in 7 of those. Across those games he had 13 shots.

Football icon Fikayo Tomori to commit 1+ fouls

Kane is crucial here as well. He was fouled a ridiculous 6 times in Milan when these teams met for the first leg.

Kane’s ability to hold the ball up and buy fouls is a massive part of his game and he’s an expert at it, particularly when the ball is in the air.

Tomori will look to assert himself on his English counterpart whenever possible and will regularly be tasked with coming out of the back 3 to try and stop Kane. The 1.57 price for 1 foul looks very generous as a result.

Domestically, Tomori averages 0.88 fouls/90.

He’s made 6 across his last 4 starts and made 3 in the two games vs Chelsea in the groups.

Kane again. As much as he’s an expert at buying fouls, he can often give them away.

In similar fashion to how he buys fouls, he sometimes gets it wrong in his competition for the ball by backing too far in to an opponent or going in to callously in the air.

He averages 0.85 fouls/90 and has made 1 in each of his last 4 starts, including the first leg at the San Siro.
