Bayern go into this game on the back of a good streak. They’ve won 10 of their last 12 games, drawing 2.

I’ve gone for Bayern to win each half here because they have a very impressive record of 1H/2H wins.

Bayern have won 60% of 1H this season, and a whopping 90% of 2H wins to their name. Keeping a clean sheet in 60% 1H and 80% in 2H so that proves they’re hard to break down.

Galatasaray on the other hand are much lower at a 40% 1H win rate and 50% in 2H.

Goals shouldn’t be a problem for Bayern. In the last 5 games, they’ve smashed in 20 goals. Scoring on average 1.4 goals in the 1H and 2.40 in the 2H.

It won’t be an easy game but Bayern’s sheer quality and formidable home form should see them do very well, in both halves.

Corners are a very popular market when it comes to bets, and here we have 2 teams have a combined average corner count of nearly 13 per game.

So on that basis, we should see a lot of corners in this game, with a majority going to the home team Bayern.

As I said before, Bayern have hit some brilliant form of late, and are such a huge attacking threat that we should see plenty of shots being taken at Galatasaray’s goal.

This season when playing at home, Bayern have won more corners than their opponents 80% of 1H and 100% of the 2H.

Bayern avg. 4.6 corners earned in the 1H and 3.2 in the 2H.

Galatasaray when playing away, win an avg. of 6 corners in 1H and only 2.33 corners in the 2H, which as you can see is less than Bayern.

I expect a lot of the possession and most goal threats will from Bayern who are a team who are very good in both halves in a game of football.

Real Madrid are 1.17 odds on to win this game which pretty much tells you everything you need to know about what is expected in this tie.

Braga are not in terrible form or anything but Real Madrid are just on a whole different level, in every department.

Madrid have a 50% 1H win rate and the same in 2H (50%) having won 2 and drawn 2.

Whereas Braga literally seem to have a ‘game of 2 halves’ because their 1H win rate is only 30% (won 3 lost 6 first halves) but in 2H that shoots up to 70% (won 8 lost 1). I had a closer look at Braga’s 2H win rate and it comes against teams who are all in the bottom half of the table.

Real have won 3 in 3 CL matches so far and they show no signs of slowing down. Braga have won 1 and lost 2 (inc a 2-1 loss to Real at home).

Worth noting too, that Braga on avg. concede double the amount of goals (0.8 goals in 1H and 0.7 in 2H) each half as what Real Madrid does (0.4 in both halves).

Both teams combined see on average 15.2 corners per game. Quite nicely balanced out between 1st and 2nd halves (avg. 6 and 7).

Braga, when playing in away games, win 2.9 corners in 1H on avg and 2.75 in the 2H.

Real Madrid have that home advantage and the better corner stats here.

They’re odds on favourites to win for a reason. They’re just a much stronger team.

If they play their normal attacking style, we should see Braga’s goal getting blitz with shots all game. Generally the more shots you have, the more corners you win.
