Uruguay. I think everyone and their dog has backed them as their dark horse for the tournament and you can see why. Although they’ve got a tough group with Portugal, Ghana and today’s opponents South Korea, I’d fancy them to go deep into this tournament with the likes of Darwin Nunez, Luis Suarez, Federico Valverde and Rodrigo Bentancur the stars.
Below I’ve covered all the numbers from both Uruguay and South Korea’s qualifying routes to the World Cup, so you can delve deep into the data and pick yourself a winner. If you see someone is always on the scoresheet, pops off shots or racks up fouls, you can back them with the bookies for goals, shots and cards. Check out my Stats Pack Guide for more guidance.
